This book comparatively analyzes the concepts and principles of human rights. Chapter one of this book traces out the 'evolution of values and practices' related to human rights in the western and eastern societies and attempts to answer number of issues raised by the 'protagonists of cultural relativism'. Chapter two deals with the issue of human rights violation, principles of conflict transformation and dynamics of violent conflict in Nepal.
